Assistance with Travel/ Transport

The NDIS Assistance with Travel/Transport service is available for people who have difficulty getting around in their community. With this service, you can receive help to travel to medical appointments, shop at local stores and markets, visit friends and family members and attend social activities.

You may also receive assistance with transport if your NDIS plan includes it. The NDIS Assistance with Travel/Transport service is available in most Australian states. This assistance can consist of the following:

• Coordinating transport and travel needs

• Booking transport

• Advising on accessible transport options
